Mulkey's Crossing is a low, wide river crossing where the water moves slowly, ideal for wagons and cattle to cross the river. It is contested when Mulkey's Muleteers and Biscoe's cattle drive arrive at the crossing at the same time.
There's a wide plain with scrub and a few small ponds on Biscoe's side of the river to use to feed and water the cattle as they wait it out. There are high cliffs just north and south of the crossing. It is the only place to cross for many miles in either direction.
